Instructions for Accessing Live or Archived Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) Webcasts

Many of the continuing education videoconferences are simultaneously broadcast through webcast. These can be viewed from a personal computer.

Additionally, the majority webcasts are also recorded and archived for later viewing. Archived webcasts can be viewed for up to one year after the event.

Below is a set of instructions on how to access the webcasts:

  1. Go to
  2. In the middle of the screen under the heading “Achieved Events” Click on “Public”
  3. A list of recently archived events will be displayed
  4. If you know the date of the event you are searching for:
    1. Click on “Sort by Date” in the top middle of the screen
    2. Enter “Air date” and “To” date as the same date
    3. You will now see all of the archived events for that particular day
    4. On the left hand side, click on the event that you wish to view
    5. A new window will pop up and start playing the Rounds that you have selected
  5. If you do not know the exact date of the event you wish to view:
    1. Type for example: “Provincial Stroke Rounds” in the search box in the top right corner of the screen
    2. Click on the search icon
    3. A list of available archived Provincial Stroke Rounds will be displayed
    4. Click on the name of the event you wish to view
    5. A new window will pop up and start playing the Provincial Stroke Round that you have selected
